Terms of Use
The rules for using the Forsetak app, and what we are and are not responsible for.
These terms govern your use of the Forsetak app and website. By using the app you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
What Forsetak is
Forsetak is a directory of offers from local shops in Jordan. We are not a seller, not a broker, and not a party to any transaction between you and a shop. No purchase or payment takes place inside the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least sixteen years old and have a phone number that can receive a verification message.
Your account
You sign in with your phone number using a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping control of your phone and your number, and for anything done through your account. If you lose control of your number, tell us at info@forsetak-jo.com.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.
Offers are the shop's responsibility, not ours
This point is central:
- Every offer belongs to the shop that published it, and that shop alone is responsible for its price, conditions, duration and stock.
- An offer may end, change, or sell out before you reach the shop.
- Product or service quality, warranty, exchange and returns are between you and the shop, under Jordan's consumer protection law.
- We make reasonable efforts to check published offers, but we do not guarantee their accuracy.
If you find a misleading or expired offer, tell us and we will take it up with the shop.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Attempt to reach another person's account, or our systems, without authorisation.
- Use automated means to extract the app's content or to overload our services.
- Abuse verification codes or send repeated requests to cause disruption.
- Use the app for any purpose contrary to Jordanian law.
Content and intellectual property
The Forsetak name, logo and app design are ours. Shop logos and offer artwork belong to their owners and are shown as that shop's content. None of it may be republished without its owner's permission.
Notifications
Notifications are core to the service: they are how an offer reaches you. You can turn them off in the app's settings or your phone's settings, or mark particular shops as not interested so their notifications never reach you.
Availability
We work to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may pause it for maintenance or updates, and we may change or remove any feature.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect loss arising from its use, for a transaction between you and a shop, or for an inaccurate offer published by a shop. Nothing here limits a right that cannot be waived under Jordanian law.
Suspension
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms or misuse the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page, and continuing to use the app after an amendment means you accept it.
